FUGRO CORPORATE

Fugro collects and interprets data related to the earth's surface and the soils and rocks beneath. On the basis of this data the Company provides advice, generally for purposes related to the oil and gas industry, the mining industry and the construction industry.

Fugro operates around the world at sea, on land and from the air, using professional, highly-specialised staff and advanced technologies and systems, many of which have been developed in-house.

Fugro's objective is to occupy a strong market position supported by technological developments and the provision of high quality services. This requires a strong, international or regional market position.

Fugro was founded in 1962, has been listed on Euronext N.V. in Amsterdam since 1992 and has been included in the Amsterdam Midkap index since 2002. Fugro now has over 275 offices and over 8,000 staff stationed in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Organisationally Fugro comprises three divisions: Geotechnical, Survey and Geoscience. Fugro Ground Geophysics, along with Fugro Airborne Surveys form part of the Geoscience Division.




FUGRO GROUND GEOPHYSICS

Fugro Ground Geophysics are world leaders in acquiring and processing high quality ground geophysical data for mineral, oil, gas, and water exploration, for engineering studies and for environmental monitoring, throughout the world.

Fugro Ground Geophysics was formed in 2000 after the merger of the ground geophysics divisions of Geoterrex and Tesla-10, the exploration division of Scintrex Ltd of Canada.

With a staff of over 50, Fugro Ground Geophysics operates as a division of the Fugro Airborne Surveys group, from 20 offices worldwide.

Fugro Ground Geophysics specializes in a full suite of ground geophysical techniques including;

  • Induced Polarisation
  • Magnetics
  • Nuclear Magnetic Resonance
  • Radiometrics
  • CSAMT

We acquire quality electromagnetic, magnetic, radiometric, induced polarization and gravity data using a wide range of instruments selected for superior performance in particular areas.
